Mrs.
Annetta H. Acher, 75, a former resident of Grove City and widow
of Albert M. Acher, who died here 22 years ago, succumbed
last night at Erie, where she made her home with her daughter,
Mrs. George D. Rose. She fractured her hip in a fall six weeks ago, and
failed to survive.
Mrs. Acher was born in Greenville, November
4, 1865. The family resided on Center Street here for many years prior
to Mr. Acher's death. She formerly was a member of the First
Presbyterian Church here, and more recently attended the Church of the
Covenant at Erie.
Surviving are one son, Howard, of Tucson, Arizona, one daughter, Mrs. Rose, at Erie; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The
body was removed to the Shelly Funeral Home here, where friends may
call at any time, and from where services will be held Saturday at 2
p.m. e.s.t. in charge Dr. Ralph C. McAfee of Erie. Interment will be in
Woodland Cemetary, Erie.
