Robert
Harvey Booth was born about 1820 probably in what is now South
Pymatuning Township, Mercer County, Pa. His parents were William and
Sarah (Searight) Booth.
Robert Harvey and Cordelia Bacon were
married February 9, 1846. Cordelia was born November 12, 1821 in New
York state somewhere along the Unidilla River. Her parents were Zebina
and Eunice (Moss) Bacon.
Robert Harvey and Cordelia lived in
Jefferson Township, Mercer County, Pa. and in later years moved to West
Salem Township, Mercer County, Pa. The had nine children. Robert Harvey
died March 6, 1896. Cordelia died about February 3, 1907. They are both
buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Sharon, Pa.
