John Tunison
John was one of 12 children of James and Hannah Miller Tunison. John had been a blacksmith for seven years. On the death of his father, John took over the family farm and raised his minor brothers and sisters.
John married Margaret J. Holler, daughter of Solomon and Elizabeth Holler of West Salem Twp., Mercer County, on July 14, 1859. John was a Methodist Episcopal and a democrat. John and his wife Margaret are interred side by side in Shenango Valley Cemetery.
