Samuel McCall Smith, died 7 Oct 1903,at Raymilton, Venango Co. He was born 11 Feb 1846 in Mercer County, to John B. and Catherine Gearhart Smith. He married Malissa Green on 19 Aug 1870 at Franklin. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert, daughter, Maude, and son, Vernon. He is survived by his wife, brothers, Wesley, Jackson Co., Iowa, William, Raymilton, John, Franklin, and W. Jacob, sons, John, Burton, Levi, Clinton, and Harry, daughters, Matilda Day, Jackson Center, Minnie Pizor, Butler, Nancy Billig, Raymilton, Susan Burdette, Jackson Center, Kate Flickner, Youngstown, Lottie, and Flora.

He will be buried at Center Church, Raymilton.
