William Walter (Bud) Frye, 487 South Dock St. died at 10:30 a.m. in Sharon General Hospital. He was 67.
An employe of the Mercer Pipe Division of Sawhill Tubular Products Co. here, Mr. Frye was born April 1, 1888, in Terra Alta, WV.  He was a son of John and Ella Nichols Frye.

Mr. Frye was employed by the pipe firm for 22 years and had been a resident of Sharon for 40 years. A former resident of Greenville, he was a veteran of WW1, attended the Lutheran Church, was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Moose Club.
Death occurred following illness. He had been a patient in the hospital for the past nine weeks.
Surviving are a son Norman Davis, New Castle; two brothers Charles of Pittsburgh and Elmer of West Elizabeth; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hauger, Terra Alta, WV and Josephine Liberty, Bruceton, Allegheny County.

Eighteen nephews and nieces also survive.
