Richard Emery Turnere, former resident of Greenvile, died Sunday morning at 2 o'clock at his home in Bartlesville, Ok'a. Mr. Turner was born in Salem township, January 11, 1857, the son of Samuel Turner and Elmira [sic - Almira] Pearsall [sic - Piersol]. For a number of years he was in the furniture business in Green ville and left about 15 years ago for Bartlesville.

His wife, who survives him, was Miss Ella Harnett, daughter of former residents of this section, bit at the time of his marriage a resident of Chicago. He is also survived by two children, Ralph R. Turner of New York City and Mrs. Thomas Walker of Bartlesville, Okla., one sister, Mrs. W.H. Simons of Clark's Mills, and one brother, Syrenus of Carlton. Burial will take place at Bartlesville.
