Mrs. Minnie Rose Uber,
734 Sherman Ave., a lifelong resident of Sharon, died at 11 p.m. Saturday
[19 May 1956] in her home. Although
she had been ailing, her death was unexpected.
She was 75.
Born in Sharon on March 9, 1881, Mrs. Uber was the daughter
of William A. and Lucy Myers Hawkins.
Her husband, Albert T. Uber, died on
June 6, 1952.
Mrs. Uber was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church,
Farrell.
She is survived by a daughter, Marie
I., wife of Harry T. Anderson, Sharon,
a fourth grade teacher in the Wengler Ave. School; a son, William
E. Uber, Sharon; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth
Swogger, Sharon; and Mrs. Myrtle Allen,
Canfield, O.; two brothers, George R. Hawkins,
Masury; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
