  Mary Hilands Whann 


Mrs. J. H. Whann, of Cleveland, died at her home in that city on Saturday, June 10, 1905. The body was brought here on Erie train 8 Tuesday at one o'clock and a short service will be held at the home of Dr. Mossman, after which burial was made in the Shenango Valley Cemetary. Mrs. Whann was the sister of the late Mrs. B. E. Mossman, her maiden name being Mary Hilands. Her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Charles Dodd, survive.

MRS HARVEY WHANN


Mercer relatives received a telegram on Monday announceing the death of Mrs. Harvey Whann, which occured at the Whann home in Cleveland, Ohio on Sunday evening. Deceased was the daughter of the late R. V. Hilands, a former treasurer of Mercer County, and her husband , Harvey Whann is a son of Wm Whann, at one time proprietor of what is now the Hotel Humes. Mrs. Whann is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. C. M. Dodd, of Cleveland, and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. A. M. Achre, of Grove City; Mrs. Thos. Campbell of Vienna, O.; Robert Hilands of Cleveland; William of Chicago and Rufus of Philadelphia. Mmes. Geo. Reznor, J. G. White and S. J. Byers, of this place are cousins. The remains were taken to Greenville for interment on Tuesday.
