  Marjorie H. Jones Anderson 

Marjorie H. Anderson, Sandy Lake Twp., died Thursday, May 16,1996,in Hillcrest Nursing Center, Grove City, after an extended illness. She was 75.
Mrs. Anderson was born July 16,1920,in Jackson Center to Lloyd and Jane Hancock Jones. She was a 1938 graduate of Sandy Lake High School. She worked for 10 years in the Lakeview High School Cafeteria. She was a member, elder, and deacon of the Sandy Lake Presbyterian Church. She was active and a past president in the Woman's Association of the church, and taught Sunday School for several years. She was a representative to the Shenango Home. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Stoneboro Chapter 110, Princess Rebekah Lodge 442, Sandy Lake, Happy Homemakers and served as a Girl Scout leader for many years. Surviving are her husband, Robert V. Anderson, whom she married Jan. 6, 1942, twin daughters, Jane Sefton, Sandy Lake, and Jean Lego, Berwick, Pa., sons James R., and D. Dale, Sandy Lake, A sister, Mrs. Sam (Merriam) McCurdy, Jackson Center,11 grandchildren, and a great grandchild. The burial will take place May 19,1996,at Oakhill Cemetery, Sandy Lake Twp.
