HENRY STAUNTON
The death of Henry Staunton, who died yesterday at the home of his
daughter, Mrs. H.R. Clark, at No. 20 Fisk Street, with infirmities of
old age, will come as a great shock to his many friends of Sharon and
vicinity.
Mr. Staunton was in his 84th year and was one of the oldest druggists
of Western Pennsylvania, being a druggist here sixty years ago. He was a
member of the Pharmaceutical Association of Philadelphia and a member of
the Episcopal Church.
He was married on March 12th, 1854, to Teressa A. DeForeest of this
city, who died several years ago.
Mr. Staunton is survived by three daughters, Mrs. R.M. Davids and
Mrs. Ernest Thompson of Delta, Colo., and Mrs. H.R. Clarke of this city,
and one son, D.F. Staunton of Los Angeles, Cal.
The funeral will be held from the residence at 2 o'clock Saturday
afternoon. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery.
[Note: this has three daughters listed, I believe Mrs. Ernest Thompson
was an ex-daughter-in-law, having been married to Isaac.]
