The Grove City community was saddened by the sudden death of
Mrs. Roosevelt Cornelius, 33, last evening at nine o'clock in the Bashline-Rossman hospital. Mrs. Cornelius had been in the hospital one week, suffering from blood
poisoning. Last week-end she was greatly improved and news of her death came as a shock to her many friends.
Mrs. Cornelius, who was the former Miss Leona
Wareham, moved with her parents to Grove City in 1922 from Minnesota. She was a graduate of Grove City high and attended Muskingum and Grove City colleges. She taught for several years in the schools of Findley township. She was a faithful member of the Grace M.E. church, belonging to the P.S.M.R. class and the Mother's guild of the church. She was also an energetic worker in the Cradle Roll department of the church.
Surviving are her husband, Roosevelt Cornelius; two children,
Raymond and Rowena, at home, and two brothers,
Dr. Raymond Wareham, Knox, Pa., and Alvin
Wareham, Minnesota.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
