  John Lyons McKay 

John Lyons McKay, son of the late John and Jane Hill McKay, died at his home near Hadley on November 29 at 10:30 P.M. after a long illness. He was born July 26,1862, near  Stoneboro. He was a noted farmer and thresherman and was married 7/3/1884 to Emma Jane Supplee of Coolsrping. To them were born seven children, six surviving: Floyd S. of Greenville, LeRoy H. of Hubbard, Ohio, Mrs. Grover Smith and Mrs. Ernest Heckman of Fredonia, Mrs. Walter Foust and Denton McKay of Hadley.
Services were conducted from his home Friday afternoon with Rev. J.D. Davis of Sheakleyville officiating. Interment was in the Fredonia cemetery.
