Keck, b. 27 Mar 1830, in West Salem Township, son of Jacob and
Elizabeth (Loutzenhiser) Keck, died 14 Dec 1899. He married Eveline
Speir, who died in 1855. They had 3 children: Charles, Clara (Demptser)
and Eveline (deceased). He married Ada, daughter of Edwin Smith in 1882,
and they have two children: Gertrude and Marion.
Keck served in the Civil War in Co. K and Co. D, 83rd PA Reg. (Burial was in Shenango Valley Cemetery-- tombstone dates are 1831-1899.)
