Frank Hilands, formely a well known resident of this county, died last Friday June 19, 1891 in New Orleans at 41 years of age. Greenville burial.

Frank C. Hilands died suddenly of heart disease at New Orleans Friday night, June 19th. He had been in a hospital several weeks previous, but was feeling much better and at Friday noon wrote his brother that he expected to take a drive the next day, the remains were brought here Tuesday and the funeral services which were private were held at the grave, Frank was 41 years old and a son of R. V. Hilands of Fredonia.
A number of brothers and sisters attended the funeral; Mrs. A. M. Achre, Berlin, Ontario, W. J. , Cleveland, Robert M., Deputy Sheriff, Mahoning County, Youngstown, Mrs. T. M. Campbell and Mrs. Dr. B. E. Mossman of this place. Mrs. J. H. Whann, Cleveland and Rufus who is in Mexico were not present. Though far from home, he died among friends, his remains being cared for by his friend Judge Pardee of the Circut Court.
