RECENT DEATHS

MRS. ELLA M. EGBERT

The death of this estimable lady occurred at her residence number 45 Pearl Avenue at 9:30 o'clock Sunday morning, caused by pleural pneumonia. Mrs. Egbert was in the 43d year of her age, and was a widow lady, her husband, Dr. Egbert, dying about nine years ago. She leaves one child, Miss Nannie, aged 13, and three step-children, Charles, Fred & Minnie, to mourn the loss of a kind and devoted mother. She has been a resident of Oil City for the past 15 years, and during her residence here has made many friends, who knew her as a self-sacrificing, honest, upright and devout Christian lady, always lending a helping hand to the needy and sorrowing ones, and working for the good of the world at any and all times.

The deceased was an active member of the First Presbyterian church and has been associated with that church for years. She was a sister-in-law of Dr. A.G. Egbert, of Franklin. The time of the funeral will be announced later, the services will be in charge of Rev. B.F. Williams, of the First Presbyterian church, and the interment will be in the Grove Hill Cemetary.
