Miss Elizabeth Littlejohn, aged 61, one of the older and most highly esteemed residents of Sharon, died late last night at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth Allen of 20 Second street, following an extended illness with a complication of ailments.  News of her death was received with genuine regret by a large circle of friends. 

Miss Littlejohn was born in Scotland on 16 May 1856.  She came to Sharon when a small child and has lived here ever since.  She was a woman of many beautiful traits, and all loved her who knew her.  She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving is one sister, Mrs. John Bailey.

Funeral services will be held from the Allen residence on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock.  Rev O. D. Briggs officiating.  Internment will take place in Oakwood Cemetery.
