Anne McCartney Paden | ||

Anne,
wife of Houston Paden, died at her home two
and one-half miles east of New Lebanon, Thursday evening, April 28 [1898], of
pneumonia. Mrs. Paden, formerly Miss
Anne McCartney, was reared in Mill Creek township, and married Mr.
Paden about 16 years ago She leaves a husband and five small children to
mourn the loss of a kind, loving wife and mother. Services were held in
the M. E. church, of which she was a member, Sunday morning, conducted by Rev.
J. C. Woomer; interment in Dutch
cemetery [New Lebanon Cemetery].
