Alex Grant Redmond, 55 years of age, died on Saturday, September 2, [1922] at the Cottage State Hospital following an operation for gall stones. He was born and raised in New Wilmington, son of the late Barlow Redmond. He is survived by his widow and five children, John, Nathan, Carl, Laura and Clara. Funeral services were held at his late home in Houston Junction, conducted by Rev. R. J. Montgomery, of the Methodist Episcopal church, followed by interment in the Findley cemetery.
