  Josiah W. Luce 

Josiah W. Luce aged 67, well known and highly respected resident died at his home early Sunday morning after an extended illness with a complication of diseases.

Mr. Luce was born in this state and had been a resident of Sharon for many years.  He was a member of the Oakland Avenue Methodist Church, Sharon Lodge Knights of Pythias, Franklin Lodge of Odd Fellows, Tribe of Ben Hur, and the Rebeccas.

He is survived by his widow and two daughters, Mrs. James Langley of Youngstown and Mrs. Edward J. Lewis of Cleveland [and a brother] George Luce of Sharon, and three sisters, Mrs. James Burford [?] of Youngstown, Ohio, Mrs. N[?] A Sieg of Farrell.

The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  The Rev. C.A. Williams officiating.  Interment will be made at Oakland Cemetery.
