Hugh G. Morgan Jr., 5363 E. State St., Hermitage, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening (8-5-87) while at a camp near Oil City. He was riding a
bicycle when he apparently suffered a heart attack. He was 59.
Mr. Morgan was born in Sharon, Oct. 3, 1927, to Hugh G. and Ethel McAllister
Morgan. A lifelong resident of the area, he attended Hickory schools, Hermitage.
He was employed 33 years at Sharon Steel Corp. in the 60-inch hot mill. Mr. Morgan was a member of Notre Dame Church,
Hermitage. He was an Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, the former Jean M. Kilgore, whom he married Jan. 1, 1949; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Linda) York,
Johnsontown, Pa; three sons, Daniel A., Hermitage, Kenneth E., Transfer, and James P.,
Austintown, Ohio;
two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Jones, West Middlesex, and Mrs. Gladys Mudrak; Hermitage; two brothers, Donald, Hermitage, and William, Oil City; and nine
grandchildren.
A brother, Alfred Morgan, died May 18 of this year.
