My Dear Daughter

I send Anna to enquire how our Dear Mary is and also to Say that I enquired of Dr. Shankin the other day if he would have an objection to Mary’s useing new milk half water he said he had not – and if milk does not or has not disagreed with her I think. She had better try it – it was suggested to take one Tea Cupfull of new milk and add to it one Tea cup ful of boiling water and when sufficiently cool give her some of it with thye mush – let her have some cream as well as milk because it is lighter – from thy affectionate mother
