Cool | Simon, Capt. | Rev. Soldier; Military marker and Rev. War marker; according to records he was killed by natives in the fall of 1780 near Bottle Run. Two other men in the hunting party were James Sweeney and William King, both lived. Sweeney was captured and held for years before being released. |
