Sara E Carey, 92, secretary with the United Mines Workers union welfare and retirement fund for 25 years before retiring in 1977, died of kidney failure Sept 5 at her home in Bethesda.
Miss Carey, a Pennsylvania native, moved to the Washington area in 1952. She was a member of the St. Jane Frances de Chantel Catholic Church in Bethesda.
Survivors include a sister, Angela Kehoe of Bethesda.
