Rev. Peter B. Honchock, aged 42 years, who died at Campbell, Ohio during the
night, was born and reared at McAdoo. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Basil
Honchock, former residents of McAdoo and was a priest in the Russian Orthodox
church. He served the charge at Campbell the past ten years and had also been
stationed at Centralia. He was a relative of the Bavolack family at McAdoo and
had many friends and relatives on the south side. His parents who are
residents of Homestead, his wife, three children, two sisters, Mrs. John
Yachissen of Monessen, Pa., and Mrs. Mary Kondradnick of Weirdon, W. Virginia
and a brother, Fred of Monessen, Pa., also survive.
He served as pastor first at Altoona, then Centralia, from where he went to
Campbell, Ohio.
The funeral party will leave Campbell Monday morning and the funeral will be
held Tuesday morning at South Canaan, where a monstery is established by the
Russian Orthodox faith and where interment will be made. Many relatives and
friends from the south side will attend the services at South Canaan on Tuesday
morning.
