George Letchak, Jr., of 525 Alter street, passed away at the Mercy Hospital, of Wilkes-Barre, Sunday morning. He was formerly a resident of Freeland. He was employed by Hazle Mill Company, his route being through the Freeland section.

Surviving are his wife, Anna, and one daughter, Irene; also his father, George Letchak, Sr., and the following brothers: John, Michael, Patrick, Andrew and Stephen, all of Freeland.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30, from his home. High mass of requiem at 10:30 in St. Joseph's church. Interment in the parish cemetery.
