MICHAEL
BASTA----May 20, 1962--- Wilkes-Barre Record obituary
Michael Basta, of 190 Franklin Street,
Plymouth, died last night at 9 in Retreat State Hospital. He had been a
patient since March 7.
Born in Poland, Mr. Basta came to
this country as a young man and settled in Plymouth. He resided there the
last 60 years and was a member of St. Mary's Nativity Church. Mr. Basta last was employed at Atwater
Throwing Mill, Plymouth. Prior to that he worked in the mines many years
with Glen Alden Coal Company. A son, Frank was killed in France during
World War 2.
