Apr. 06 John Masileski Polish Miner 48 M 1 0 consolidated Luzerne Killed by blast at face of chamber.
Apr. 19 Harry Fairclough American Gripman 29 M 1 1 Taylor Lackawanna Killed by cars 63 feet from foot of main shaft.
May. 04 Ludwig Jacobs Austrian Miner 42 M 1 3 Taylor Lackawanna Fatally injured by fall of top coal at end of pillar. Died May 16

Nov. 21 Andrew Saski Slavonian Miner's Laborer 36 M 1 5 Taylor Lackawanna Killed by fall of roof at end of pillar.
Dec. 03 Joseph Kruser Polish Miner 50 M 0 0 Pyne Lackawanna Fatally injured injured by explosion of powder in cross-cut opposite No. 22 chamber. Died the next day.
Dec. 31 John Millefsky Polish Miner 38 S 0 0 Central Luzerne Killed by fall of roof at face of chamber.
