Isaac Tripp's Will
In the name of God ______, I Isaac Tripp of the township of Provicence in the county of Luzerne and the state of Pennsylvania, being weak in body but sound in mind and memory and understanding, but considering uncertainity for this life so make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit, first it is my will and i order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conviently ____be after my decease. I here by give and bequeth unto my dear wife Catherine all my stock such as horses both old and young and also all my cattle,_____, cows, steers, heifers, calves both old and young and all my sheep and swine and alland all the debts due me either by bonds, mortgages, notes or accounts and all my farming utensils and all my moveable property and it is my will that my dear wife out of the about mentioned property pay all my just debts. I give and bequeath unto my eldest son Benjamin Tropp forty roads wide on the south side of the farm i now live on from the river to the back and of the lot and one undivided half of my land that i bought of Isaac Dolfin and Jacob R. Bloom situated on the Lackawanna river and on the Great R--- Philadelphia Turnpike road and one share in the Wyoming Bank at the Wilksbarre. To my second son, Ira Tripp, i give and bequeath thirty six roads wide on the north side of the said farm i now live on from the river to the back end and one equel of the about mentioned land brought of said Isaac Dolfin and Jacob R. Bloom----- and one share of stock in the Wyoming Bank at Wilkesbarre.----- Isaac and Holden Tripp my two youngest sons i give and bequeath fifty roads wide between Benjamin and Ira it being the remaining of said farm and to Isaac i give one share of stock in the Wyoming Bank in Wilkesbarre and to Holden i give one share of stock in the Wyoming back at Wilkes Barre and i also give and bequeath to Isaac and Holden the remainder of my farm in Greenfield that is not given to my five daughters and to Deona Depuy i give and bequeath six acres of land, the place where she now lives, which land i bought of Joseph Fellows, and about one acre and a half i bought of the township propietors ajoining the about section, a piece of and land and after my other four dauters have had two hundred and sixty five dollars each from the sale or division of the land I own on the westside of the road opposite the last mentioned land then it is my will that Deona should have an equel share of the remaininder with my other four dauters and to my five dauters vig: Deona, Melcola, Phebe, Maria, Catharine i give and bequeath two hundred acres of my farm in Greenfield in equel shares and to Phebe my dauter i give and bequeath one share of stock in the Wyoming Bank at Wilkes Barre and to Ira Tripp my son i give and bequeath three acres of land ajoining the other piece willed to him, said land i bought of Thomas Griffin and further I give and bequeath to my dear wife Catherine the use of the farm that i now live on to support and educate my children, untill the youngest child becomes of age, and lastly I
*****iate and appoint my said wife and Benjamin Fellows Executors of this my last will hereby revoking all other wills, legacies and bequests by ****hertofore mad and declaring this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness where of I have hereinto set my hand and seal the twenty*****th day , of April one thousand eight hundred and thirty,
