No. 663 of 1917,WILL OF HELEN K. MONTAYNE,DECEASED

I, HELEN K. MONTAYNE, of the City of Wilkes Barre, County of Luzerne and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all wills heretofore made by me.

ITEM 1:- I give and bequeath to my grand son, Burchell M. Johnson, all the personal property, consisting of household goods, beds and bedding, cooking utensils, bric-a-brac etc. in my cottage at Lake Nuangola, Wright Township, Luzerne County, Pa., his heirs and assigns forever.

ITEM 2:- I give and bequeath to my daughter, Olive Montayne, now intermarried with Frank B. Forbes, the one half of my lot at Lake Nuangola, Wright Township, Luzerne County, Pa., facing the road, the same being the one half upon which she has built a bungalow; the other half, I give and devise to my Grand son, Burchell M. Johnson and my daughter Olive Montayne, their heirs and assigns forever.

ITEM 3:- All the rest and residue of my estate, real and personal, I give devise and bequeath to my daughter, Olive Montanye, and my grand son, Burchell M. Johnson, son of Elinor Montayne Johnson, and heirs and assigns, share and share alike.

LASTLY, I constitute and appoint my daughter, Olive M. Forbes, Executrix of this my last will and testament.

This day before me, W.E. Morgan, Reg’r of Wills in and for the County aforesaid, personally came G. Fred Lazarus and H. F. Geddes, the subscribing witnesses to the above and foregoing last will and testament of Helen K. Montanye, late of the City of Wilkes Barre, Luzerne County, State of Penn’a, deceased, who being duly sworn according to law, say that they were present and saw and heard Helen K. Montanye, the testatrix, sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for her last will and testament, and that at the time of so doing she was of sound mind, memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief and that they did sign their names as subscribing witnesses in the presence of each other and at the request of the said testatrix.

In accordance with the foregoing Will and the probate thereof, Letters Testamentary thereon, on the 24th day of September A. D. 1917, were granted unto Olive M. Forbes, the executor therein named, she having first been duly sworn to well and truly administer the goods and chattels, rights and credits which were of the said deceased according to law.
