E. Ruth Binkley, 81, of Lebanon, died in the Polyclinic Hospital,
Harrisburg, Pa, on Thursday, March 29, 1990. She was the wife
of the late E. Vernon Binkley and the daughter of the late George
S. and Alice Kreiser Blair. She was retired from Cornwall
Manor and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.
Surviving are children; Arlene M. Bohr, Eva Schlappig Hummel,
and Arthur J. Walborn, all of Lebanon; grandchildren, Barbara
Maurer, Joseph Sobbing, Sharon Polarek, Simon Bohr, Candice
Bohr, and Kimberly Evanoff; seven great-grandchildren; two
great-great-grandchildren; a brother, David Blair, Lebanon;
sisters; Annie Gettler, Lansdale, and Mary Westhafer, Jonestown.

Lester G. Blair, 75, died at home in Grantville, Pa, Wednesday,
Jan. 10, 1990. He was the husband of the late Gertrude Zipp
Blair, who died in 1967. He was a son of the late George S and
Alice Kreiser Blair. He retired as a maintenance worker for Herco.
Surviving are daughters Shirley, wife of George Kreiser, and Betty Blair,
both of Grantville; five grandchildren; a brother, David Blair, Lebanon;
and sisters Anna, wife of Joseph Gettler, Lansdale; Ruth Binkley,
Lebanon, and Mary, wife of Harry Westhafer, Jonestown.

Erma Blair Rhoads, 66, died Friday, Nov. 23, 1984,
in Lebanon's Good Samaritan Hospital. She was
preceded in death by her husband, George Rhoads.
She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Stichler
Blair and was born in Lebanon County.
Surviving are daughters Joan, wife of Harry Hunsicker,
Myerstown; Nora, wife of Harvey Smith, Denver; and
Mary Simpson, of Jonestown; and a son, George Rhoads
Jr., of Lebanon; a sister, Lillian, wife Giles Brown, of
Jonestown; and two brothers, Miles Blair, of Lebanon,
and Jonas Blair, of Clearwater, Fla.; ten grandchildren
and a great-grandson.

Jonas L. Blair, 58, formerly of Jonestown, died Tuesday,
Jan. 20, 1987, in Clearwater, Florida. Born in Lebanon
County to the late John and Mary Stickler Blair, he was a
retired postman. He graduated from Jonestown High
School in 1945.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Betty Anthony Blair, are
children, Michael Blair, Alabama; and Marie, wife of Jody
Eaddy; a sister, Lilly, wife of Giles Brown, Jonestown; and
a brother, Miles Blair, Lebanon. He was preceded in death
by five brothers and sisters.

Marian G. Blair, 56, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 1985,
in Lebanon's Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the
daughter of the late Charles and Eva Kline Binner and
was born in Lebanon. She was the wife of Miles S. Blair
and is survived by children, Stanley Blair, Lebanon;
Deborah Boltz, Lebanon, and Eva Blair, Lebanon; three
grandchildren; a sister, Beatrice Laudermilch, Lebanon;
a brother, Charles Binner Jr., Lebanon; and a number of
nieces and nephews.

Harold W. "Slugger" Blair, Jr., 37, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 1982 in the
Lebanon Valley General Hospital. He was the husband of Sally Ann
Bickel Blair. His parents were Vera E. Hollenbach Blair and the late
Harold W. Blair. He was employed at Bethlehem Steel Corp., Steelton
and a member of the Lebanon Valley Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife and mother, sisters Marion Fake, Lebanon;
Shirley, wife of Charles Binner, Lebanon; Brenda, wife of Robert Mays,
Lebanon, and Verna, wife of Gary Houtz, Lebanon, five children;
step-daughters Cheryl Peters, Lebanon; Connie Edwards, Jeanette;
Cindy Gibb, Hershey; and Tammy, wife of Carl McCarty Jr., Lebanon;
three step grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Gene Donald Blair, 48, Manassas, VA., died Aug. 29, 1990,
at Prince William Hospital, Manassas, VA. A resident of
Manassas for 26 years, he was employed by the Department
of Defense for 30 years.
He is survived by his mother, June Blair, Myerstown; three sons,
Gary Blair, Pasadena, MD., Ken Blair, Fairfax, VA., and Fred
Blair, Manassas, VA; seven brothers, Warren Blair, Myerstown,
John Blair, Jonestown, Herman Blair, Harrisburg, Jim Blair, Lickdale,
Bill Blair, Myerstown, Ronnie Blair, Myerstown, and Tim Blair, Myerstown;
and seven sisters, Linda Hopkins, Pottsville, June Blair, Easton, Janet
Gatewood, Clarksville, Tenn, Pat Andrews, Myerstown, Wanda Hannan,
Phillipsburg, N.J., Connie Blair, Virginia Beach, VA, and Jean Blair, Little
Rock, Arkansas; and former wife Doris Blair, Woodridge, VA.
