Mrs. Effie Gardner Wilson, 58, of Jackson Center and wife of Howard H. Wilson, died Friday at her home. Born in New Castle July 31, 1888, to Victor M. and Amanda Ott Gardner, she moved to Jackson Center in March of 1931. Survivors include children: Thomas O. Wilson and Mrs. Mae Jones of Jackson Center; brothers, Joseph, Carl and Victor Gardner; sisters Nettie M. Gardner of New Castle and Mrs. R.B. Whitney of Pittsburg, KS; and two grandchildren, Beverly and Dona Jones. Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake.
