Mrs. Mabel L. Tinsley, 78, of 1130 S. Mill St., died yesterday in Overlook Medical Clinic in New Wilmington after an extended illness. She was born in New Castle to Frank and Olive Thompson Crowe on Aug. 11, 1890. Her husband, Marion H. Tinsley, died on Jan. 15, 1963.

Mrs. Tinsley spent the early part of her life in Nebraska but returned to New Castle many years ago.

Survivors include: son, Francis E. of New Castle; daughters, Helen (Mrs. William) Mansfield of New Castle and Jean (Mrs. Bill) Campbell of New Wilmington; sisters, Josephine (Mrs. Cedric) Smith of Dunkirk, NY, Mary Luffler of Westlake, OH and Blanche (Mrs. William) Patterson of Venango, PA; brothers, Frank A. Crowe of Venango, Robert Crowe of Meadville and John H. Crowe of Dania, FL; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Interment in Graceland Memorial Cemetery.
