Former Volant man was iron worker in Mont., Mo.
TIGARD, Ore. - Paul Louis Tillia, 14335 S.W. 164th Ave., formerly of Main Street, Volant, died at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday (8-6-97) in King City Rehabilitation and Living Center after a brief illness. He was 91.
Mr. Tillia was born Nov. 17, 1905, in Wampum, Pa., to Louis and Ruby Tillia.
He was an iron worker in Montana and Missouri.
Mr. Tillia was a member of The Christian Church, Chewton, Pa.
He belonged to Free and Accepted Masons Lodge 243, New Castle.
Surviving are: his wife, the former Margaret A. Allen, whom he married July 24, 1929; two sons, Frank, Tigard; and John, DeBary, Fla.; a sister, Ruth Welsh, Laguna Beach, Calif.; a brother, C.A., Dewey, Ariz.; two grandchildren; two step granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; and a step great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence; and a sister, Hazel Walters.
