Mrs Mattie Lewis Stewart
Mrs. Mattie Lewis Stewart, wife of Harry Stewart, of Slippery Rock township, died Tuesday morning at the home of her brother-in-law, Wilson Stewart, 1821 East Washington Street, after an illness of about five months. She was 42 years of age.
She had lived in this county practically all her life, and was well know. She was a member of the Central Christian church. Surviving her are her husband and six children, Samuel, Loyal, Mary, Viola, Roy and Lavinia. She leaves also four sisters, Mrs. Mark Shaffer of Princeton, Mrs. Lou Gibson of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Nan Gettings of this city, and Sarah residing near Pittsburgh; also two brothers, Harry Lewis of Slippery Rock township, and Robert Lewis of Saxonburg. Interment at Savanah.
