LAVERNE SHOAF LaVerne Shoaf, 79, of 3521-1 Meadowview, died the morning of Sept. 18, 1999, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. The daughter of the late Francis and Mary Gardner Fehrenbach she was born Jan. 2, 1920, in New Castle. Her husband, Dale P. Shoaf, whom she married April 12, 1941, survives.Also surviving are one son, Jim Shoaf of Hermitage; one daughter, Barbara Dukovic of West Virginia; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Grant and Thomas Fehrenbach.
