Joseph F. Preisel, 85, of Cottage Grove, New Castle, died on March 6th at his residence. He was born in New Castle Aug. 11, 1896, to Louis and Elizabeth Neihesel Preisel. His wife, Mary E. Walsh, whom he married June 6, 1916, survives. Other survivors include sons; Joseph L. of Cleveland and Patrick A., Charles L., Sr. and Plennie V., all of New Castle; daughters, Mrs. George (Leona) Horchler and Mrs. Alfred (Lillian) Fulkerson of New Castle and Mrs. Lawrence (Rosella) Teach of Phoenix, AZ; 34 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren. A son, Thomas, six sisters and four brothers preceded him in death. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
