Mrs. Jane Patterson widow of the late William Patterson of North Beaver Twp. died July 3rd at the home of her son William in the 7th ward. She was 88 years of age. She was born in North Beaver Twp. and passed the greater part of her life there. For many years she resided with her husband at the top of Pitzer Hill. She was a consistent member of the United Presbyterian Church of Mt. Jackson and a woman of sure Christian character she is survived by four children; W.C.,; John; Walter; and Miss Eunice Patterson, the latter making her home with William C. Patterson and all living in or near this city. Interment was made in Grandview Cemetery. Pall-bearers were: Edward, Joseph and J.N. Hopper, R.W. Hamilton, E.J. WILSON and M. L. Wallace.
