Edward Enos Pander Sr.
Edward Enos Pander, 82 of 1212 Huron Ave., died at 7 a.m. today at his residence after an extended illness.
Born Feb.24,1893 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late John H. and Letitia Sanford Pander. He had been married for the past 61 years to the former Georgianna Hetrick who survives.
Mr. Pander was employed by the Shenago Tin mill and retired from the Crane Co. where he was in the boiler department. He attended the Trinity Episcopal Church and was a 50 year member of New Castle Lodge 642 F & AM Valley of New Castle Consistory, and Delta Royal Arch Masons Chapter 170.
Besides Mrs. Pander, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Letitia) Reynolds, Miss Margaret Pander, both of New Castle, Mrs. James (Katherine) Trupe of Youngstown and Mrs. James (Betty) Campbell of New Castle; one son,Edward E. Pander Jr. of New Castle and eight grandchildren
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Howard H. Reynolds Funeral Service. 909 Adams St.The Rt. Rev. Canon Ralph E. Hovencamp of Trinity Episcopal Church will conduct services at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
