NEW WILMINGTON - Miss Alice B. Palmer, 82, of RD 3 Volant died 6 p.m. yesterdayat the Jameson memorial Hospital after a short illness.
She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, Sept. 14, 1890 to the late John and Fanny Joseph Palmer. Miss Palmer was a member of the New Wilmington United Methodist Church and the Ever-Ready Bible Class of the church. She was a former employe of Westminster College.
She is survived by two brothers, Edward of New Castle and George of RD 3, Volant.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Jesse, John, Ross and Thomas.
Friends may call at the E. Gailey Sharp Funeral home, 210 W. Neshannock Ave., 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. Saturday. Services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Stanley Byrd of the New Wilmington United Methodist Church officiating. Buried will be in Fair Oaks Cemetery.
