Arthur R Milliken, 59, of RD 4 died at his home at 11:45 a.m. yesterday of an apparent heart attack. Born in New Castle on March 7, 1913 he was the son of Harry G and May Rager Milliken. He was employed as a fitter for Mesta Machine Co, New Castle. Member of the Second United Presbyterian Church, Lodge of the Craft, #433 F&AM the Valley of New Castle Consistory and the Consistory Legion of Honor, International Association of Machinists Local 2178. Veteran of US Navy World War II. Survived by his wife, the former Thelma Woods, whom he married in 1959; a daughter, Beth Ann at home; two sons, Harry A of RD 6 and Russell Neal in the USAF Offutt AFB, Omaha NE; a step-son, Daniel Kerr of Kane; a step-daughter, Mrs David (Sharon) Brunswick of New Castle; three sisters, Mrs Jess (Hilda) Wilson, Mrs Marion Roth of New Castle and Mrs Henry (Kathryn) Leslie of Frostproof FL; a brother Edwin of Los Angeles CA. Preceded in death by a brother, Harry. Services Wednesday at the Robert A Myers Funeral Home, 208 N Jefferson St, Rev Clarence Drake of Evangel Community Church officiating. Burial in Unity Baptist Cemetery, Harlansburg PA.
