Alexander McConahy
15 Aug 1816 - 8 Feb 1883


His Injuries Proved Fatal

On Saturday of last week Alexander McConahy, a well-known farmer of Shenango township, was badly hurt by being thrown out of a wagon. He was crossing a railroad track in Stabtown and his wagon was run into by a switch engine. The former was badly demolished and Mr. McConahy was thrown out with great force. One of his arms was badly torn and in addition to this he received internal injuries. He lingered in great agony until Thursday night, when he died. Funeral Sunday at 10:30 a. m. The deceased was 63 years of age.
