Infant Son, Mayberry
Died August 21, 1863, age 7 weeks.
On Friday Aug. 21st. Infant son of Jimison and Mary J. Mayberry aged 7 weeks.
Happy spirit thou art fled,
Where no grief can entrance find,
Lulled to rest the aching head,
Soothed the sorrows of the mind.
'Mid the Choirs of the skies,
'Mid the angelic hosts above,
Hark his songs melodious rise
Songs of praise to Jesus love.

We would only add, the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away and blessed be the name of the Lord.
