David L. Mansfield, 54, of Shiloh died Nov. 4, 1996, at the Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC. He was a senior resident engineer for Westinghouse M.A.O. for 23 years and an elder of the Shiloh United Church of Christ.
Born in New Castle on Jan. 21, 1942, he was the son of William D. and Helen L. Tinsley Mansfield of New Castle. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Carol A. Kaltenbaugh Mansfield; son Brian D. Mansfield of Ann Arbor, MI; brothers, William T. Mansfield of Reidsville, NC, John Mansfield of Perrysburg, OH, and Phillip Mansfield of Pittsburgh; and sisters, Ann Hill and Gayle Pugh of New Castle. A son, Aaron J. Mansfield, died March 16, 1984. Graveside services were held at Oak Park Cemetery in New Castle.
