The Death of a Woman of High Christian Character.
Martha Houston, wife of James Houston, died Thursday morning, aged 26 years. Mrs. Houston had been ill only a short time, and was getting along well when an unexpected turn for the worse occurred. The immediate cause of her death was kidney trouble. Mrs. Houston was a member of the Second U.P. church. She was a woman whose many amiable traits of character attracted about her a large circle of friends and acquaintances. She was a true christian, and died firm in the faith that she was soon to be with her Master. She leaves a husband, three children to mourn the loss of a loving wife and affectionate mother. Funeral from the family residence, 203 Lindall street, Saturday at 2 p.m.
