Doctor Franklin Houk, aged 86 years died Saturday morning at his home in Shenango township as the result of injuries sustained when he fell down the stairway at his home Friday evening.

Mr. Houk was born in Shenango township and had lived in that community all his life. He had been a member of the Harmony Baptist church for many years.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Aramenta Jones, Mrs. L. M. Reno and Mrs. William Glasser and two brothers, Albert and William.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 23 at 2 p.m. from the Harmony Baptist church. Interment in the church cemetery.
