Thomas C. Hopper
Died May 1902, age 48
Thomas C. Hopper son of the late William Hopper of North Beaver Twp. died at his home on W. Washington St. about 4 o'clock Fri a.m. of lung trouble after an illness of over a year. Aged 48 and born in North Beaver Twp. Prior to his removing from the city about 4 years ago, he had been engaged in farming, but on account of sickness in his family, he had disposed of his farm and removed here where he worked in the steel mill. For several years he had been a member of the Westfield Presbyterian Church. Before coming here he had been an Odd Fellow and was a member of the Shenango Lodge, and Lawrence Encampment. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Samuel Moore. Besides his widow, he leaves a daughter Miss Verna aged 11.
