Harry Hetrick 87, of 102 Mission Meade Drive, died at 3 a.m. Aug. 16, 1908 at Jameson Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 16, 1892 in New Castle to Charles and Alice Hammond Hetrick, who preceded him in death. His wife of 34 years, the former Hannah Foster, preceded him in death. He was married June 14, 1955 to the former Harriett Thomas, who survives.
Mr. Hetrick was employed by Fenati Brick Co. and was a member of First Free Methodist Church. He was a World War I veteran.
Surviving in addition to his wife is one daughter, Mrs. David (Lois) Woodring of New Castle; two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Georganna) Pander and Mrs. Edwin (Sarah) Ayres, both of New Castle; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death in addition to his first wife were five brothers, Carl, Edward, Howard, Gilbert and Perry, who died earlier this week; and one sister Lillian,
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at R. Cunningham Funeral Home, Inc. Northside, 2429 Wilmington Road. A service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home will be conducted by the Rev. Robert Williams of First Free Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Castle View Memorial Gardens.
