Mrs. Fred C. Hammond
Mrs Catherine Hammond, wife of Fred C. Hammond of 208 Milton street, died Thursday morning, April 5, at 7:10 o'clock at the Mercer sanitarium. The exact cause of her death is not known. She was taken to Mercer Monday of this week, following a nevous breakdown, and grew worse rapidly until the end came this morning.
Mrs. Hammond was 30 years of age, and was a native of Pennsylvania. She was a daught of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cline and had been a resident of this city about 12 years. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and was a young woman of many pleasing traits of character. To her scores of friends, the news of her untimely death will bring much sorrow. She is survived by her husband and one son. Raymond Hammond, also by her father, Frank Cline and one brother Raymond Cline, both of ths city.
Arrangements for the funeral have not been completed and will be announced later.

Mrs. Hammond Buried
The funeral of Mrs. Fred C. Hammond was held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, from the residence at 208 Milton street. The services were in charge of Rev.F.B. McAllister, pastor of the First Baptist church. Interment was made in Harmon cemetery and the pallbearers were H.J.and E.J. Hammond, Joseph Rock and David T. Nelson.
