Mrs. Alice Louise Hammond
Mrs. Alice Louise Lovick Hammond, 75, 309 Lafayette street, died at 11:50 p.m. Sunday in the Jameson Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness.
Born April 15,1884, in Port Huron, Mich. she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Hunt Lovick, and married Charles Hammond in 1907, who preceded her in 1948 as did a son, William Kenneth in 1928.
She is survived by four children, George H, Charle R., Mrs. Lester (Frances) Brumbaugh and Mrs. Edward (Bernice) Calvert, and five grandchildren, New Castle. Surviving also are two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Badger, New Castle, and Mrs. Josephine Pettit, Pittsburgh.
Four brothers and two sisters preceded her to
death.
She was a member of the Madison Ave. Christian Church, the GIA and B of LE and the Pennabo Lodge.
Friends may call any time after 7 a.m. today at the Caskey FuneralHome, 101 W. Madison Ave. The family will be present from 7-9p.m. tomorrow . Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. Melvin Sparks.
