On the 2nd of December, of consumption in the 44th year of his age, Mr. T. M. Hamilton, on board the bark "Early Bird", bound from Hong Kong, China, to San Francisco, California. Mr. Hamilton was formerly a resident of Westmoreland County, in this state, but more recently of North Beaver township, this county; was the son of the late James Hamilton of that township. Mr. Hamilton left this county about eight years ago for San Francisco, after remaining there six years, he determined to go to China and the East Indies; his health failing he resolved to return home. His friends were expecting him home by the steamer that brought the sad news of his death. He leaves a large cicle of friends to mourn his death.
